INDIANAPOLIS–Today, Senate Democratic Leader Tim Lanane (D-Anderson) presented Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 28, his resolution honoring Ball State University on their 100th anniversary.
“I am proud to present this Senate Concurrent Resolution for an outstanding institution as they round out their first century of educating Hoosiers, as well as those attending from all parts of the country and from around the world.
“As an alumnus of Ball State University, I could not be more proud of the work that the University has done to educate our state and nation’s workforce. I have seen firsthand the positive impact the University has made in East Central Indiana as a leader in research, as well as economic and workforce development.
“I know that the President and those who joined him today are tireless advocates that will ensure Ball State University’s reputation and work will continue well into the school’s second century,” Sen. Lanane said.
