Indiana unemployment rate at 3.6% for April 2019
Indiana’s unemployment rate remained the same as March at 3.6 percent in April of this year. This rate also remained equal to the national rate. April’s unemployment rate was 0.2 percent higher than this time last year (3.4 percent). In the Midwest, Indiana lags behind Minnesota and Wisconsin, who had 3.3 percent and 2.8 percent unemployment rates respectively.
